| My baby is four months old.  It has gone too fast. He got four shots on Wednesday and it about broke my heart to hear him scream. As soon as Mommy picked him up and cuddled him he was fine. By the time we got home he was all smiles... until bedtime. Then he commenced the screaming. Poor baby. He finally went to sleep but wimpered for over an hour. We could hear him on the monitor.
Yesterday I moved furniture while C played in his exersaucer. We decided to get all the bulky baby toys out of the living room and make Caleb a playroom. So we are going to put our bedroom furniture upstairs to make a guest apartment, complete with living room and bathroom, and this weekend we will shop for new bedroom furniture. Not that we can afford it, but hey, after four years in a double bed, I think we deserve a queen!
My agenda for today: bathe the stinky boy, bathe the stinky mom, vacuum the living room, make brownies for the weekend, and 2 pitchers of sweet tea. YUM
Caleb's stats: Weight = 13 lbs, 6 oz; Height = 23 inches. I think the nurse measured him a little short though. He is SO longer than two feet. | | |
| We left Caleb in the nursery for the first time on Sunday. I thought Greg was going to have a nervous breakdown! He kept asking if I wanted to go check on him, I said "no he's probably fine and they'll page us if he needs us." Five minutes later he would ask again. It was too cute to see Daddy so concerned! I was fine on the other hand... And Caleb had a blast!! When we picked him up he was cooing and squeeling to try to keep up with the other kids. It's like he was talking to them and saying, "if I could only sit up, then you would know how cool I am!!" I have never seen him so happy! And of course the nursery ladies just loved him.

| Bored. Baby is sleeping - think goodness! But what am I supposed to do? Actually I have tons of things I could be doing, yet here I sit, surfing my brain cells away on the WWW. Maybe this is what I need when he is down -- some dead time (braindead time really)
Today I went to the grocery store for my weekly trip. I bought a cantaloupe and a bottle of Calcium. Not a successful trip :(
